MADE BY WOMAN agenda

International organizations with mandates to support gender equality were established back in 1948.  During the last decades, formalized dialogues and multi-stakeholder collaboration, influential research publications and a number of initiatives and instruments were emerged with the global goal to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.

This is how MADE BY WOMAN aims to anchor further integration and coherence of gender equality practices:

As development is driven by values, there should be ways to transform them.

Sustainability is achieved by balancing social, environmental and economic concerns. Interpretations of sustainable development should not differ per stakeholder or position.

Businesses even being small should link their processes to global goals to be achieved worldwide.

Sustainability and good governance should become a starting point of any business development.

Producers and consumers should speak the same language. That is “the language of values”.

Gender equality, humanizing management, ethic marketing, social entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility, leadership, teamwork, emotional intelligence, mentoring and coaching, inclusive education, innovation and diversification, and other value-oriented management and marketing should be of a focus for any business.
